Aequalis approached The Ideas Suite to increase awareness of its brand name among its target market in Australia by deploying a PR campaign that largely comprises media relations.

Strategy
With the recruitment industry receiving a large amount of consistent media coverage, The Ideas Suite’s PR approach was to develop original news hooks through Aequalis-generated surveys.

The Ideas Suite also leveraged Aequalis’ 45 years of combined recruitment experience by securing regular columns for its directors in major media.

Results
In the first three months of PR, The Ideas Suite secured the Aequalis brand name in 32 media stories, including BRW, Daily Telegraph (twice), Sky Business News (twice), Weekend Australian, Herald Sun, Adelaide Advertiser, CEO Online, Recruiter Daily and National Accountant.

The editorial reached an audience of more than 5,300,000.

After 12 months, The Ideas Suite secured more than 110 media stories, which have reached a total audience of more than 10 million and generated $850,000 worth of advertising value.
