“It was a focused campaign that brought some great results in a short space of time, such as being the no. 1 rated gadget in Gadget Inspector, a national column in the Sunday papers. The Ideas Suite exceeded our expectations and we received outstanding coverage across a broad range of media that has given us a fantastic launch platform for both consumer and retailer awareness.” |
The first notebook support of its kind in Australia, NoteBall® Notebook Raiser combines stylish looks with a compact and patented design to improve the ergonomics of notebooks. Optimising the angle and screen height of notebooks, it improves posture and comfort for users – without cramping desk space.
The Ideas Suite was enlisted by Bolt International to secure coverage in key media outlets on a limited budget over three months.
Strategy
The Ideas Suite developed creative media kits that focused on educating the media on notebook ergonomics and the benefits of Noteball. These were sent to mass-market and tech media outlets across Australia for product placement coverage. Key bloggers were also targeted.
Results
The Ideas Suite secured nationwide brand awareness for Noteball, with coverage in more than 20 print and online avenues – including the Sunday papers in each state.
Media coverage included Sunday Telegraph, Sunday Herald Sun, Sunday Times, Sunday Mail (in Brisbane and Adelaide), Famous, Vacations & Travel, Real Living, Home Ideas, Smarthouse.com, Gizmodo.com, and Computerworld.com.
The PR campaign secured more than $2.5m in editorial value and reached an audience of more than 7 million.
