Julia Nekich – Principal

julia Julia was a PR consultant, advertising copywriter, journalist, corporate writer, and book editor over more than a decade before establishing The Ideas Suite in 2007. She has helped produce books by well-known Australians such as Paul Keating, Ian Thorpe and Susie O’Neill, and reported for leading media such as Sydney Morning Herald, Sunday Telegraph, Belle and Vogue Living. As a communications specialist, she has helped implement strategies for brands such as Comparethemarket.com.au, LivingSocial, Sanitarium, Ella’s Kitchen and Kez’s Kitchen. At The Ideas Suite, she has built a portfolio of internet, B2B and consumer brands.

Sarah Jane Williams – Senior Account Manager

Sarah Jane is an experienced public relations practitioner with a specialty in full-service corporate communications across a range of industry sectors including finance, technology, media, marketing and retail. She has developed and implemented PR strategies for organisations such as VEDA, Naos Asset Management, The Australian Computer Society, Regus Australia, OfficeMax and Mobile Embrace. Her skill set includes strategy development, senior counsel, issues and crisis management, high-end media coverage, media training, campaign content development, and marketing communications. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science, and was a Spec Saver of the Year finalist.

Eve Hanks – Senior PR Consultant

Eve has a strong background in corporate and consumer PR and event management, with 10 years’ experience. She was a journalist for many years with mass media consumer magazines and major newspapers, including The Australian. She ran the highest achieving PR campaigns internationally during her four-year tenure as Australia and New Zealand PR manager for Pandora.

Alison Banney – Account Executive

Before joining The Ideas Suite in August 2013, Alison gained PR experience inside some of Sydney’s biggest PR agencies, not-for-profit organisations such as the Samaritans Foundation, and events such as the Activate Expo. She has gained valuable writing experience at the NSW Writers Centre and local newspapers, where she has had stories published. Alison holds a Bachelor of Communications, achieving a distinction average, and she holds a college medal.
