Influencer engagement

WorldFirst is an award-winning global leader in international money transfers. WorldFirst briefed The Ideas Suite to design and implement a social influencer campaign that would engage the local expat community.

We developed the eponymous campaign name and hashtag #myWorldFirstexperience, and targeted expats on social who had high following and/or engagement rate. We offered them a uniquely Australian experience under $300 that is a ‘world first’ for them, in exchange for social media posts. The experiences could be eating kangaroo at a restaurant overlooking Sydney harbour, climbing the Harbour Bridge, surfing lessons at Bondi Beach, or seeing and Australian Ballet or a Bangarra performance at The Opera House.

We engaged 5 influencers, resulting in 13 posts with a 474,000 following and 1.68% engagement rate, as well as 6 Instagram stories with a 640,000 audience and a 30 per cent engagement rate.
