Money.com.au sought a PR program that would raise awareness of its brand, and deliver a steady stream of backlinks from high-traffic media sites. As the people at Money.com.au were offshore, The Ideas Suite commissioned well known business and consumer financial adviser Helen Baker to be the face of the brand in the media.
The Ideas Suite then developed a content strategy comprising Money.com.au surveys of consumers and businesses and listicles that help the public improve their financial know-how. To encourage backlinks and drive traffic to the website, we developed and embedded whitepapers into our media stories.
In the first eight months, The Ideas Suite generated 644 pieces of coverage with 91 backlinks in media such as Daily Telegraph, News.com.au, Sunrise, Ch 10 News, Business Insider and Yahoo!7 Finance. The coverage reached a (repeat) audience of 593 million, with the major print and broadcast coverage achieving $532 million in PR value.
